所謂軽症慢性軸性視束炎に対する一私見

On the so-called "mild chronic axical optic neuritis"

I．緒言

　所謂軽症慢性軸性視束炎（以下軽慢軸と記す）の存否に関しては賛否両様の論説があり猶幾多の疑点の有る所である。昭和32年度日眼総会に於ける井街・鈴木・桑嶋三氏のシムポヂウムにても充分には論じつくされず，むしろ問題を今後に残したとさえ見られる様である。

　殊に本症がその診断根拠中に，視力良好なる中心比較虚性暗点の証明されるものと云う点が更に論議を複雑にしているとも見られる。

There are many problems of the "so-called mild chronic axical optic neuritis", and the author concluded here that this is an allergic subinflammation in the neighbourhood of the optic nerve. The reasons are as follows. Under supposing an allergic reaction, the author performed the retrobulbar injection of cortison on 32 cases showing such syndrome, and obtained good resuls. Besides, the half of 32 cases have close contacts with T.B., and the patients showing such syndrome have an increasing tendency in the T.B.patients under medical treatment.
