先年,幼若な蛙の眼球移植実験を行い,移植後第11日〜第29日より(最高第54日迄の間)移植眼瞳孔に対光反応を認めこれを視的反射弓の恢復によると考えた所,先頃,萩原氏は,本誌その他において,摘出眼球の瞳孔運動について一連の実験を行い移植眼球の対光反応は摘出眼球瞳孔に起るそれと同一のもので視的反射弓によるものではないと述べられたので,この点に関し2,3の考案を述べたいと思う。
Mr.Hagiwara maintained that the pupillary reaction to light recognized on the grafted eyes of the infant frog, in not caused by the afferent and efferent pupillary paths, but the same one as the reaction recognized in the excised eyes. But his bases are defective as follows.
1) It is impossible to conclude that the pupillary reaction to light on the grafted eyes is not caused by the afferent and efferent pupillary paths, for no other reason than that he recognized the light reflex on the excised eyes.
