視紅再生面よりみたアダプチノールの作用機序

Mechanism of Adaptinol for Regeneration of Rhodopsin

緒言

　AdatinolはTages種の植物の花瓣より抽出した植物色素Helenien （Lutein dipalmitinsäu-reester）を一錠中に5mg含有する糖衣錠のBayer社商品名で，v．Studnitz，Niedermeier等によつて暗順応機能が促進されることが見出され，最近本邦でも正常者及び各種夜盲疾患に対する投与成績が報告されている。

　本剤の作用機序については一応v．Studnitzが説明をしているが，私は視紅の再生に及ぼす影響を中心とせる二三の実験を行つたので，その結果より暗順応に対する作用機序を考察してみようと思う。

It is widely recognized that Adaptional clinically improves the dark-adaptation function, but very few of its mechanism have been unveiled. . From the results of the experiment which was intended to get Adaptionol's effect on the regeneration of visual-purple, the authors discussed about its mechanism to the dark-adaptation to conclude as the followings :

1) Absorption spectra accord with those of Lutein ; λ_max of ester type is 446 mμ and Amax of free type is 444 mμ. Both types can be separated by chromatography.
