ドイツで発見された暗適応改善，夜盲治療剤アダプチノールは，本邦では始めて池田1）2）によつて紹介され，次いで数氏の報告がみられるが，私等も夜盲性疾患の症例にアダプチノールを使用しており，その一部は既に木内3）が述べたところであるが，その後の症例をも併せて報告したいと思う。
1) Combined therapy of internal use of Adaptinol and extripation of coccygeal glands for 8 cases of pigmentary degeneration of the retina and a case of congenital hemeralopia by albescent puncta in the retina improved the visual acuities. Five cases out of the ninecases showed improvement of the dark-adaption functions and six cases showed enlarge-ment of the visual fields.
2) Four or five days after the internal use, the function of dark-adaption began to increase and the state continued for 6 weeks-in one case for more than a year.
