眼科領域に於けるF．A．D（アデラビン）の効果

The effect of F.A.D. in the field of Ophthalmology.

緒言

　V．Bが熱に対する抵抗性を異にする2因子，即ち熱に不安定なB₁と熱に安定なB₂に1926年Goldberger氏等によつて分離されて以来各学者の研究により，V．B₂が体内の酸化還元機構に重要な役目を果して居る事が知られて居る。近時抗生物質の投与に際しV．B₂欠乏症状が現われるに及び注目せられ，特にV．B₂の結合型たるFla-vin mononucleotide （以下F．M．Nと略す）及びFlavin adenine dinucleotide （以下F．A．Dと略す）が重視される様になつた。眼科領域に於て市川，船橋氏が既に活性型B₂の報告をされてるが，今回名糖製薬よりアデラビン（F．A．D30γ）の提供を受け，点状表在角膜炎（以下K．P．Sと略す）13例，眼角部眼瞼炎7例，眼瞼湿疹2例アリボフラビノービス1例につきその効果を見る機会を得たが，その結果一応まとめる事が出来たので茲に報告し，大方の御批判を仰ぐ次第である。

We applied active type V.B₂-F.A.D Adelavin on 13 cases of punctate superficial Kera-titis, 7 cases of Angular Blepharitis, 2 cases of palpebral eczema, and 1 case of Aribofla-vinosis and found remarkable effect as compared with ordinary free type VB₂.

〔punctate superficial Keratitis〕 (1) We used sub-conjunctival injection of 0.5 cc at a time in all cases. (2) It is desirable for the prognosis to start the sub-conjunctival injection simultaneously with onset. (3) The shorter the interval of the injection is, the better, and daily injection is advisable.
