高度瞳孔膜遺残症の手術経験

Experience in Operation of Heavy Persistent Pupillary Membrane

　1861年Weber氏の報告以来瞳孔膜遺残症の報告は多数にのぼり，其の手術も色々の方法が述べられている。我々も最近高度の瞳孔膜遺残症に手術を施行し比較的良好の結果を得たので此処に報告し文献に追加する。

Though many reports on heavy persistent pupillary membrane and various methods of its operation have been reported, now we report on the operation of eyes of 5 years old girl who has heavy persistent pupillary membrane and convergent squint. After the operation of convergent squint, we cut off the adhesion point between the pupillary mem-brane and the iris with Sato's knife. Though in the first operation we felt slight difficulty owing to the leakage of abueous humor and accordingly the shrinkage of anterior chamber, in the second operation the injection of air and physiological saline solution got rid of the difficulty.
