The author considered that many cases of myopia in Japan were caused by the habit of reading books near at hand because chinese characters were difficult, so the Kana-letters in place of chinese characters were investigated since 30 years ago. This study was accomp-lished last year. The similar sentence was printed in the following styles and they were compared each other: In 1 figure, (1) The letters used in Japan now. (2) Katakana letters, (3) Roman letters. (4) New-Kana letters. In 2 figure: New kana letters in writing style. In 3 figure: English letters.
