網膜色素変性症と尾動脈糸毬剔出術の治療成績

Result of the treatment of degeneratio pigmentosa retinochorioideae and the extraction of glomus coccygeus

Ⅰ．緒言

　頸動脈糸毬剔出術が手術操作上，眼科医にとり必ずしも容易でない為に，傍神経節系の他の一端をなすと考えられる尾動脈糸毬の別出を提唱したのは藤田教授であり，これを網膜色素変性症及びその他の眼疾患に試みて其の成績を記載されたのは桑原安治氏である。当教室でも昭利28年4月よりこれを追試したが，手術後の経過及び遠隔成績，並びに吾々の検索した尾動脈糸毬の組織像について報告したい。

Postoperative effect for degeneratio pigmentosa retinochorioideae showed 20% of the preope-rative one for the visual acuity, 20% for the visual field, 1/13 for the light sense, and 4/14 for the dark adaptation. These effect resembled the results reported by Kuwabara, but the remote results decreased to 7 % for the visual acuity, and to 7 % for the visual field. Many people whose visual fields are larger than 20°, or young people showed a good postoperative effect, so the operation is seemed to be indication for them.
