Pas-Na長期服用結核患者の副作用—第1報調節性眼精疲労

The side effects of long term administration of PAS-Na.

1．緒言

　Pas （Para-Amino-Salicylic Acid），が結核薬として登場して以来，左の卓効が認められ，広く使用されているが，左の副作用も皆無で無い。Pas過敏症として，発熱，発疹，下痢，黄疽，リンパ腺腫張，ニーランデル陽性尿，肝障碍，結膜充血等が挙られている。

　私はPas-Na （Sodium 2 Hydroxy 4-Amino-benzoic Acid）を長期服用している結核患者に調節性眼精疲労，其の他，二三の眼症状を併発したのを経験したので報告する。

Nine cases of asthenopia accomodativa seemed to be attributed to PAS-Na were presented. By the discontinuounce of PAS-Na, asthenopia accomodativa were disappeared. Furthermore,some cases have been cured very fast by large dose of potassium sodium. Few cases have shown the disturbance in the function test of liver. Accordingly, the asthenopia byB avitami-nosis were considered too, but the case shown Beri-beri symptoms were very few. Theoreti-cally, it was considered to be attributed to hypokalaemia. The cause of this asthenopia might be decided by quantative measurment of potassium and Vit. B.
