（36）矯正視力スクリーニングの解説とその成績

Improved method of refraction and its results of certain eye conditions.

1　スクリーニングの特長

　矯正視力スクリーニングという言葉は耳新らしく聞えるが，実は矯正視力検査を順序よく行う事である。スクリーニングの特長としては他覚的屈折検査の大部分を看護婦や助手が行う事が出来るし，見落しが少いので確実な検査を期待する事が出来る。

　矯正視力検査は日常の眼科診断のうちで一番先に行われる大切な検査である。しかし手間どるため患者が混雑している時にはこの検査は後廻しになり易く，患者が失望する事が少くない。

The auther describes an improved method of objectiv refraction, subjective refraction and these results. The objective refraction include an indirect ophthalmoscopy and use of a streak retinoscope made in Japan combined use of a akiascopic rack of auther's design.

As subjective refraction he uses a bichrom lens of auther's design, and a cross cylinder with is attached to a phoropter recently made in Japan. Then he does refraction both eyes simul-taneously, istead of use of homatropine or cyclogyl instillation for ordinary cases.

He emphasizes the advantage of use of this method which produce a quick and good results.
