Comparative Studies on Ocular Tensions in Various Eye Diseases by Non-Contact Tonometer Measurement

緒言

　眼球にはまつたく触れることなく，角膜上に圧搾空気を吹きつけることにより，角膜頂点の扁平化を電子の目で読みとり，直ちに眼圧（mmHg）としてデジタルに表示されるNon-Contact To—nometer　（NCT）を用い，正常人，各種眼内疾患患者，そして緑内障患者の眼圧値を求めた。先報^1,2）では，NCTとComberg眼圧計との比較検討をおこなつたが，今回はさらに症例を増し，とくに角膜曲率半径（BC）との関係も検索し検討を加えたので報告する。

A new applanation tonometer, Non-Contact Tonometer (NCT), was evaluated clinically. NCT measurement and Comberg impression tonometry (5.5g and 10g loads used) were made on 128 eyes of 64 normal subjects, 137 eyes of 69 patients with various intraocular diseases and 96 eyes of 51 patients with various glaucomas. Base curvature of the cornea was also measured by ophthalmometry in these testsubjects.
