Applanations Tonometerに就いて

On the practical experiences with applanations Tonometer

I．緒論

　眼圧を正確に測定するにはManometryによらなければならない。併しこの方法は実際に困難であり，我々は通常Tonometryを用いている。Tonometryにも色々方法があり，用いられている眼圧計の種類も沢山あるが，現在迄は主としてSchiötz氏眼圧計が用いられている。

　私達は1957年GoldmannとSchmidtによつて発表されたApplanations Tonometerを昨年5月に購入し，7月東京眼科集談会で使用法に就て簡単に述べた。

Since last year the authors had used Goldmann's Applanationstonometer for measureme-nts of intraocular pressure. Here, the authors explaned the structures of the apparatus and also mentioned their experiments in the use of the apparatus. As excellent qualities of the Applanationstonometer, the authors mentioned, that the intraocular pressure was measured without disturbances by the rigidity of the eyeball, and therefore the pressure was measured more accurately, than that which was measured by other apparatus. The errors of the measurement were within ±0.5mmHg.
