Optical Fiberを使つた眼底カメラ（第1報）

A New Type of Ocular Fundus Camera

緒言

　現在種々のタイプの眼底カメラが存在するが，それらいずれの眼底カメラでも被験者の角膜反射光の除去という絶対必要条件が課せられている。したがつて眼底写真の画像の質にも制約を及ぼすことになり，解像力は200本／mm程度，画角は50。程度が限界である。

　しかし次のようなFiberを使つた眼底カメラでは角膜の反射光が生じにくいので，眼底カメラの性能を上げることが可能である。

An attempt was made to remove the hazar-dous reflection from corneal surface which occur in ordinary fundus camera. The system is cou-pled with an optical fiber bundle which serves as effective illumination device for the fundus. The output terminal of the optical fiber bundle is aligned annularly about a contact lens so that the light penetrates the subject eye through the ring-like outer part of the pupil. In front of the eye, nonspherical diffraction free projection lens was fixed in place in order to focus the fundus in the instrument's image plane.
