糖尿病性網膜症ERGの律動様小波陰性の振れの面積値（ΣNA）とO1頂点潜時

The ΣNA (Sum of Areas of the 3 Negative-Going Wavelets) and the Peak Latency of the O1 of the Oscillatory Potential in the ERG of Diabetic Retinopathy

緒言

　さき^1）に糖尿病性網膜症（以下本症と略す）のERGにおける律動様小波のO₁頂点潜時は，正常眼と比較して，Scott 0期よりほぼ病期の進行は応じて高度に有意の延長を示すことを報告した。

　今回は，律動様小波の陰性の振れの面積値（ΣNA）^2）の面からもあわせ検討を加えたので，ここにその結果を報告する。

　Studies on the ΣNA (sum of areas of the 3 negative-going wavelets) and the peak latency of the O₁ of the oscillatory potential in the ERG were made in 85 diabetics (147 eyes ; 75 eyes in Scott 0 stage, 17 eyes in Scott I, 21 eyes in Scott II and 34 eyes in Scott III) while 17 normal subjects (30 eyes) served as normal controls. The apparatus and procedures for ERG recording have been described elsewhere¹⁾²⁾.

　The results obtained were as follows :

　1. The mean ΣNA was 1.95cm² with standard deviation (σ) of 0.44cm² in normal controls. The ΣNA could be regarded as normal when it was within the mean value (x) ±2σ.
