パターン視覚誘発電位P100頂点潜時の臨床的意義

Clinical evaluation of P100 peak latency of pattern visually evoked cortical potentials

　パターン視覚誘発電位で常用されるP100頂点潜時の延長の臨床的意義を検討した。対象は、視神経炎（症）20例20眼，視交叉部腫瘍16例26眼，中心性漿液性網脈絡膜症15例15眼，視神経炎のない多発性硬化症15例30眼，視神経炎の既往のある13例21眼，原発開放隅角緑内障22例22眼である。正常者25例25眼を対照とした。網膜疾患でもP100頂点潜時が延長しえた。黄斑部が正常であれば視神経疾患で潜時延長があり，P100頂点潜時延長は視神経障害を反映した。

We evaluated P100 peak latency in pattern visually evoked cortical potential in clinical cases. The series comprised 20 eyes of 20 patients with optic neuritis, 26 eyes of 16 patients of chiasmal lesions, 15 eyes of 15 patients of central serous chorioretinopathy, 30 eyes of 15 patients of multiple sclerosis without optic neuritis, 21 eyes of 13 patients of multiple sclerosis with optic neuritis, and 22 eyes of 22 patients of primary open angle glaucoma. Another series of 25 eyes of 25 normal persons served as control. Delayed P100 peak latency could be present in retinal diseases. In cases with normal macular function, delayed P100 peak latency refleclted the optic nerve lesions.
