光凝固および冷凍術による脈絡膜血管腫の1治験例

A Case Report of Hemangioma of the Choroid Obliterated by Photocoagulation in Combinaton with Cryopexy

緒言

　脈絡膜血管腫は，末期に角膜変性，白内障，眼内出血，ブドウ膜炎，続発性縁内障を起こし，治療法に関しては確実なものがなく，眼球摘出するしか方法はないとされている。しかしながら，続発性緑内障をきたす前に脈絡膜血管腫の診断が下される場合には，ジアテルミー凝固，光凝固および放射線療法がしばしば有効であると多くの人々により報告されている。最近，われわれは孤立性の脈絡膜血管腫と思われる1例に光凝固および冷凍凝固を用いて治癒せしめ得た症例を経験したので報告する。

This paper reports a case of hemangioma of the choroid obliterated by photocoagulation in combination with cryopexy.

The patient, 38-year-old male, developed the visual disturbance of the left eye two and a half years ago and once he was treated as cent-ral serous retinopathy without improvement. The patient was transferred to our hospital for further evaluation. The right eye was normal.

The visual acuity in his left eye markedly decreased (0.03) and ocular tension was 14mm Hg.
