  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The ED 50 for sulfarnethopyrazine has been reported to be less than 25 mg/kg when RH strain is inoculated into the mice. Also, the pro tein and erythrocyte binding capacity of sulfa-methopyrazine is less than other sulfanamide preparations. Because of these characteristics and the high serum concentration, sulfametho-pyrazine is considered as a best anti-toxoplasmic agent among the numerous sulfonamide prepa-rations currently available.
