  • Look Inside

Two cases of papilledema were reported.

The first case was 8 years male with a sud-den headache, and with convulsion of right upper and lower extrimities followed by coma. Papilledema was observed in 5 hours from the onset. X-ray and craniotomy revealed a cerebral hematoma caused by arterio-venous aneurysm of right posterior cerebral artery.

The second case was 29 years male, a phy-sician, who suddenly felt unconscious after having a strong headache during 7 days. Papille-dema was already seen in 9 hours from the attack. Carotid angiography showed subarach-noidal bleeding due to aneurysm of the right medial cerebral artery.
