Vogt・小柳・原田症候群，交感性眼炎の発病機転に関する考察

SOME OBSERVATIONS ON VOGT-KOYANAGI-HARADA SYNDROME AND SYMPATHETIC OPHTHALMIA

はじめに

　Vogt・小柳・原田症候群（以下原田病と略す）交感性眼炎はまことになぞに包まれた疾患で，古くから数々の研究があるが，これら疾患の本態はなお不明である。臨床症状からみてメラニンあるいはメラノサイトが関係していることは推定できても，それがどの段階でどのように関与しているかはまだわかつていない。以下教室の研究をもとにこれら疾患の発病機転をめぐる，2,3の問題について考察してみたい。

In both diseases, melanocytes are affected bysome unknown factor in limbal corneal epithe-lium as well as in uvea. The melanogenetic activity is inhibited and melanosomes are dis-integrated. Very often lymphocytes are found in contact with melanocytes in both tissues, finding similar to peripolesis. Melanocytes and macrophages are transformed into epithelioid cells in uvea, while indeterminiate dendritic cells appear and Langerhans cells increase in limbal corneal epithelium. It is probable that antibody is produced against altered constitue-nts of melanosomes, leading to allergic reaction in uvea.
