Ultrasonics (7 Mc) focused by a spherical co-ncave radiator with the radius of curvature of 20 mm and the diameter of circular boundary of 20mm have been used for making the tiny focal lesions on the lens.

Minute aspects of the diffracted sound field of the focused ultrasonics (7Mc) have been phot-ographed by the Pohlman's method of image.

The distribution of field intensity was deter-mined by a calorimeter. An example of the measurement has shown that the focal diameter was 0.5 mm and the output passing through the focal zone was about 84 % of the total so-und output.
