脳室上衣芽腫再発例の完全摘出例

Case Report on the Total Resection of Relapsed Ependymoblastoma

I．緒言

　われわれは，すでに本症例の初回手術後，その詳細について報告^1）し，その際，脳室上衣芽腫の病理組織学的性格について述べ，今後の十分な観察が必要であると結んだが，3年7カ月目，ふたたび症状の発現をみ，再摘出を行ない，目下良好な経過を示す1例を報告する。

Relapsed ependymoblastoma was tally re-sected from the left occipital lobe in a 31-year-old male. The tumor had once been removed four years before followed by irradiation with radi-oactive cobalt, but developed again from the left lateral ventricle.

Clinical signs and symptoms consisted mainly of headache, papilledema in both eyes and the right homonymous hemianopsia. Headache and papilledema were relieved following surgery without corresponding improvement in right homonymous hemianopsia.
