幼児睾丸に原発した胎胚性癌の眼球内転移例

A Case of Embryonal Carcinoma of Testis with Choroidal Metastasis

I．緒言

　睾丸に原発した悪性腫瘍の眼球内転移は，現在までに世界で数例の報告があるのみで，特に若年者のそれはいまだ例をみない。われわれは最近，幼児睾丸に原発した悪性腫瘍の脈絡膜転移の1例を経験したのでここに報告する。

A case of embyonal carcinoma of the testis with metastasis to the choroid at the age of 5 years and 7 months, the youngest one in lite-rature, is reported.

When the patient was about 3 years old, the right testis began to increase in size. Castra-tion was performed and the diagnosis of embry-onal carcinoma was given.

About 3 years following surgery, the patient began to cough and raise bloody sputa which then led to the detection of pulmonary metas-tasis of the tumor. In spite of thoracotomy and irradiation of the chest with radioactive cobalt, amaurotic cat's eye developed in the right side a few months later.
