I．緒言

　著者等は先にシュリーレン定量法を用い，イエウサギ水晶体の屈折率分布の定量測定を試み，それが連続的に変化し，その分布状態が，楕円的放物面で近似されることを発表した^{2）3）4）5）}。

　また特定個体に関する測定値を用いた光学モデルについての収差の計算値は，屈折率を均質と仮定した場合に比べいちぢるしく小さいこと，媒質を空気とせず眼内液と仮定した計算値も極めて小さくなること，などからこのモデルが合理的であることを発表した^4）。

The refractive indices and the dispersions of the nuclei, cortexes and intraocular fluids of 10 adult rabbit crystallines were measured with Abbe's refractometer and monochrometer. Re-sults obtained are as follows ;

1) Refractive index for D line.

Nucleus=1.453, Difference between cortex and nucleus=0.066, Intraocular fluids=1.3346.

2) Color dispersion (n-F-n-C).

Nucleus =0.0095, Cortex =0.0079, Intraocular fluids =0.0066.

From the ray-tracings with electronic com-puter, using the model functions of the index distribution in the crystalline the following conclusions were obtained ;
