  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

1) The author reported on four eyes of three patients in which an increase of intra-ocular pressure occurred by using 0.1% Beta-methasone drops four times a day for a short period. These eyes had normal intraocular pressure before administration and did not show any glaucomatous sign except fall in outflow facility.

2) These patients with glaucoma caused by steroid instillation had slight subjective or objective compaints, though their intraocular tensions were comparatively elevated. Only an eye in which steroid administration lasted for twenty days showed Seidel-Bjerrum's sc-otoma.
