Dysostosisと眼—その3．Marchesani及びMarfan両症候群における染色体の検討

Dysostosis and Eye (Part 3) Chromosome studies of Marchesani's and of Marfan's syndrome

I．はじめに

　最近における組織培養法の進歩に伴い，細胞遺伝学に関する研究は長足の進歩をとげて来た。即ち，Tjio,Levanらにより，正常人の染色体数が男女ともそれぞれ46個であることが確認せられて以来，染色体に関する研究は遺伝学の領域のみならず，臨床の研究者たちにも強い関心が持たれ，諸外国のみならず本邦においても数々の業績が報告せられている。その結果，眼科領域に関連を持つ各種先天異常のうち，染色体に形態学的異常あるいは数の異常が認められたものも少くない^{1）2）13）}。

　さきに著者^3）は，眼に異常を伴う先天性骨形成異常（Dysostosis congenita）のうちHurler症候群の2例と，同一家系中父とその第1男子に発現したMarfan症候群における染色体を検討した結果，Hurler症候群においては，染色体に特に異常を認めなかつたのに対して，Marfan症候群では第1男子の染色体にautosomal trisomyの所見を得て，これを報告して来た。

Chromosome studies were carried out in two female siblings with Marchesani's synd-rome, aged 49 and 36 years, and in a case of Marfan's syndrome developed in a 48-year-old male by means of blood culture method.

It turned out that (1) in cases of Marches-ani's syndrome, no anomalities were recogni-zed in the chromosomes morphologically as well as in its numbers. (2) In the patient with Marfan's syndrome, enlargement of sa-tellites in G-group of the chromosomes was clearly observable as has been pointed out earlier by some investigators.
