眼精疲労者における須田氏法と眼圧日差

Suda's test and diurnal variation in ocular tension among the patients who complained of asthenopia

I．緒言

　原因の不明な眼精疲労の中には緑内障がかなり含まれているのではないかとの考えから，我々には眼精疲労を訴える患者全てに対して一般眼科的検査の他に眼圧測定，須田氏圧迫試験を行ない，その結果は先に報告した^1）が約10％は充分緑内障が疑えるとの結論に達した。我々は更に他の一面より検査を追加施行する事により眼精疲労の中の緑内障を一層精確にせんとし，今回は眼圧日差変動の測定を試みた。そして又，日差変動と須田氏圧迫試験との関連性についても検討を試みた。

In order to detect glaucoma among patients with asthenopic complaints without apparent cause, bulbar compression test (Suda) and diurnal variation studies of the ocular tenison were undertaken in 292 eyes and following results were obtained,

1) 59 eyes (20.2%) still retained an intra-ocular pressure of more than 8 mmHg, a postive finding in Suda's criterion, after hav-ing been compressed with a 50gm weight for 10 minutes.

2) The highest measured ocular tension during repeated visits exceeded 20 mmHg in 96 eyes (32.8%) and 24mmHg in 26 eyes (8.9 %).
