前報にて,家兎への水晶体移植を報告し,此の度,人眼へ移植する機会を得たので,ここに報告する。
Lens homografts were inserted behind the iris in two human eyes after extracapsular extraction of traumatic cataract.
The first case, a male 36 aged, had his left eye injured with iron fragment, which was later removed by electromagnet. After 11 days the traumatic cataract was operated, and immediately followed by insertion of clear fresh lens obtained from a 4-year-old infant. The insertion was done with some difficulty that some vitreous prolapsed and the inserted lens was dislocated toward upper position.
The second case was a male aged 47 who suffered from toxic amaurosis and accidentaltraumatic cataract of the left eye.
