  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Two cases of miliary tuberculosis are des-cribed in which cotton-wool patches and mi-nute hemorrhagic spots were the sole initial findings. One case developed into miliary tuberculosis of the choroid, which subsided following the disappearance of cotton-wool patches after initiation of the treatment. In the other case, which presented cotton-wool patches as the sole conspicuous fundus fin-ding, numerous cytoid bodies could be confi-rmed correponding to the site of the cotton-wool patches as well as the presence of mili-ary tuberculosis of the choroid upon post-mortem pathohistological examinations.
