点眼，結膜下注射によるErythromycinの眼組織内移行

Ocular penetration of Erythromycin after local administration

　Erythromycin （以下EM）を点眼水として用いることに就ては教室寒河江等（昭34）の研究があつて勝れた点眼剤であることが発表されている。

　先に私は家兎に経口投与した場合のEMの眼内移行に就て発表したが，今回は同じく家兎を用いEMを点眼及び結膜下注射等局所に用いた際の眼内移行に就て実験してみたので以下にそれらの成績を報告する。

Intraocular penetration of Erythromycin (EM) after local application was studied in rabbits and following results were obtained :

1) The peak of aqueous concentration of the substance was attained one hour after local application, either as eye-drops or by subconjunctival injection. The highest conce-ntration ranged from 16 to 60 mcg/cc after subconjunctival injection, from 1.9 to 2.9mcg /cc and from 9.2 to 50 mcg/cc after instillation of 1% and 2.5% of eye-drops each. Maximum aqueous level of the substance was attained two hours after oral administration and ranged from less than 0.02 to 0.44 mcg/cc
