Erythromycinと2,3の抗生物質との併用効果について

Combined effect of Erythromycin with other antibiotics

　抗生物質の併用の目的とするものは，2種併用によるスペクトルの拡大，協力作用，副作用の軽減，菌の耐性獲得の防止等によるものである。しかし併用により協力作用の認められる時もあるが逆に拮抗作用の起ることもあるし，又無干渉のこともある。これらのことに関してはJawetz （1952），石山（1954）の仮説もあるが，抗生剤の種類により，又細菌の種類によっても異なるので実際にはその都度実験してみるよりほかないものである。

　私は今回Erythromycin （以下EM）を中心に，これと2〜3の他種抗生剤の併用効果に就いて実験してみたので，以下にそれらの成績に就き簡単に報告する。

Combined antibacterial effect of Erythro-mycin (EM) with other antibiotics to staphylo-coccus aureus 209p was studied using paper strip-agar diffusion and paper disc method.

Results obtained were as follows.

1) EM presented a synergistic action with Penicillin, Tetracin and Chloramphenicol.

2) An antagonistic action was observed in the combination with Streptomycin.

3) The combined effect of EM with Neo-mycin and Kanamycin seemed to be no inter-ference.
