興味ある臨床経過をとつた蜘網膜炎例

Report on a case of arachnoiditis with paralysis of abducens nerve

緒言

　脳底部蜘網膜炎は，視神経障碍と共に，屡々，中頭蓋窩にある脳神経の麻痺を伴うのであるが，これらの神経の障碍は，非連続的にも起り，且つ症状の増悪と緩解を繰返すことが多い。

　著者等は，一眼づつ発病時期を異にして，急性球後視神経炎が両眼に起り，完全に視力が回復した後，二眼の外転神経麻痺を来し，開頭手術によつて，これらの神経の障碍機転が脳底部蜘網膜炎によるものと考えられる症例を経験した。

The case is a 30 years old female, who had elapsed acute retrobulbar neuritis on the left eye and on the right 1 year later. Visual acuity became to blind, but recovered completely after several weeks.

Ohe year after recovery of retrobulbar neuritis, paralysis of the left adbucens appeared with dizzyness and headache.

Many conservative therapies did not promote the eye movement, but it was recovered complytely by the craniotomy (exposure of chiasmal region).
