（34）藥物と結膜血管に就て

Medicine in the blood vessels of conjunctival sac

　我々眼科医は日常眼科の診療に際して，種々な藥物を主として溶液の形で眼に点眼したり，結膜下に注射したり又，ある場合には全身的に応用して眼の疾患を治癒せしめようと試みている。此の際，同じ藥物でもその適用の方法が違う際には病巣に与える影響が異る事は日常経験する所である。此の意味からして，眼科に用いる藥物の基礎的な研究法としては，各種の適用方法別にその効果を判定する一連の実験を必要とするわけである。

　我々は今回主として現在眼科に於て点眼藥として日常愛用されている藥物をとり，之等の藥物の溶液が人結膜血管殊に極小血管に作用する機序を知ろうとして，生体顕微鏡的に実験観察をしたのでその成績を発表したいと思う。

The changes of local blood vessels when some medicines were instilled into conjunctivalsac or painted on conjunctiva of human and rabbits' eyes or painted on the abdominal subc-utaneous tissue.

1) Adrenalin : Constriction of arteries was apparently observed when used the 0,1% soluti-on. In subconjunctival injection, medium of physiological saline solution is more suitable than of distilled water. In subcutaneous injection, the constriction of conjunctival vessels appears after diminution of palpitation and recovers to normal after 20 minutes.

The constriction of veins may be due to some constricting factor in the wall of vessels and the emptiness of arteries.
