Abstract. Purpose:To report two cases of sardcoidosis manifesting nodules simulating choroidal tumor. Cases:One was a 31-year-old male. He had been diagnosed with bilateral uveitis, secondary glaucoma, and sarcoidosis 4 years before. He was referred to us for suspected choroidal tumor. Another was a 60-year-old female. She had been treated for uveitis since 8 years before. She was referred to us for suspected choroidal tumor. Findings:One case showed a white tumor of 1.5 disc diameters(DD)in the right fundus. The other showed white tumor of 5 DD in the right fundus. Fluorescein angiography showed hyperfluorescence. ICG angiography showed hypofluorescence in lobular pattern. Enhanced depth imaging OCT showed areas of low reflection in the choroid, suggesting choroidal sarcoid nodules. Subtenon injection of triamcinolone was followed by reduction in the size of choroidal tumors. Conclusion:These cases illustrate that nodules simulating choroidal tumors may develop in sarcoidosis and that enhanced depth imaging OCT may be useful in the diagnosis.
