Abstract. Purpose:To report the reproducibility of thickness of ganglion cell complex(GCC)measured by spectral domain optical coherence tomography. Cases and Method:This study was made on 34 eyes with glaucoma and 10 eyes without glaucoma that served as control. All the eyes underwent 3 repeated measurements of GCC on the same day by optical coherence tomography. Results:GCC thickness in the control showed standard deviation averaging 1.21μm with mean coefficient of variation of 1.24%. The values averaged 1.41μm and 2.14% in 12 glaucoma eyes that had 1% or less of GCC thickness,1.53μm and 1.98% in 10 eyes that had between 1% and 5% of GCC thickness,and 1.70μm and 1.94% that had GCC thickness between 5% and 95%. Conclusion:Spectral domain optical coherence tomography showed good reproducibility of thickness of ganglion cell complex in glaucoma eyes.
