血管瘤型傍中心窩毛細血管拡張症と糖尿病

Relation between diabetes mellitus and aneurysmal type of idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal telangiectasis

要約　目的：特発性傍中心窩毛細血管拡張症と糖尿病との関連の報告。対象と方法：過去6年間に特発性傍中心窩毛細血管拡張症と診断した5症例を検索した。問診により糖尿病の有無を判定した。結果：全例が男性で，4例が片眼性，1例が両眼性であり，年齢は51～73歳（平均61歳）であった。全例が血管瘤型で，Gass分類1群であった。1例には黄斑部外にも毛細血管瘤があった。罹患眼の視力は0.15～1.2の範囲にあった。5例中3例（60％）に糖尿病があり，うち2例は片眼例であった。結論：特発性傍中心窩毛細血管拡張症の患者には糖尿病が併発している可能性がある。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the relation between diabetes mellitus and idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal telangiectasis. Cases and Method：This retrospective study was made on 5 patients who were diagnosed with aneurysmal type of idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal telangiectasis during the past 6 years. Patients were asked as to the presence of diabetes. Results：All were males aged from 51 to 73 years,average 61 years. Four were unilaterally and one was bilaterally affected. All were classified as group 1 after Gass. One eye had capillary microaneurysms in the extramacular area. Visual acuity ranged from 0.15 and 1.2. Three patients（60％）had diabetes mellitus. Two were unilaterally and one was bilaterally affected. Conclusion：There is a possibility that diabetes mellitus is associated with aneurysmal type of idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal telangiectasis.
