要約　目的：睫毛内反症患者での眼合併症の検索。対象：過去27か月間に睫毛内反症の手術を行った39例68眼を対象とし，診療録の記述に基づいて検索した。男児15例，女児24例，片眼10例，両眼29例であり，年齢は2～14歳（平均6.5歳）であった。結果：屈折異常弱視が19眼（28％）にあり，13例（33％）が視能訓練を必要とした。眼瞼下垂が6眼（9％）にあった。手術眼と非手術眼，片眼手術眼と両眼手術眼との間に，屈折に有意差はなかった。手術前と手術から6か月以上経過した時点とで屈折に差はなかった。結論：手術を必要とするような小児の睫毛内反症には，屈折異常弱視が合併しやすく，視力が不良な症例ではその可能性に注意する必要がある。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report ocular complications in patients of epiblepharon. Objects：This retrospective study was made on 68 eyes of 39 patients who received surgery for epiblepharon in the past 27 months. The series comprised 15 males and 24 females. Surgery was performed unilaterally in 10 cases and bilaterally in 29 cases. The age ranged from 2 to 14 years, average 6.5 years. Results：Ametropic amblyopia was present in 19 eyes（28％）. Orthoptic training was necessary in 13 cases（33％）. Blepharoptosis was present in 6 eyes（9％）. There was no significant difference in the power of refraction between operated and non-operated eyes, unilaterally and bilaterally operated eyes, or before and after 6 months of surgery. Conclusion：Children need surgery for epiblepharon show a high rate of ametropic amblyopia.
