Purpose:To report a case of peripapillary detachment in pathologic myopia(PDPM). Case and Findings:A 58-year-old woman presented with failing visual acuity in her right eye. Corrected visual acuity was 0.4 right and 1.5 left. Her right eye had myopia of about-5 diopters. An elevated yellow lesion was present in the right eye. It was 2.5 disc diameters across and was adjacent to the temporal conus. Choroidal tumor was suspected but was ruled out after fluorescein and ICG angiography, B-mode echography, computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI). Optical coherence tomography(OCT)showed choroidal detachment and led to the diagnosis of PDPM. Conclusion:PDPM may show findings simulating choroidal tumor. OCT is essential in the differential diagnosis.
