Abstract. Purpose:To report successful treatment with voriconazole in a case of keratomycosis caused by Fusarium. Case and Findings:A 60-year-old female presented with pain and hyperemia in her left eye. She was diagnosed with conjunctivitis and received no specific treatment. Her left eye developed marginal corneal ulcer 3 weeks later. Fusarium was cultured from corneal scrapings. She was treated with fluconazole and pimaricin. The cornea perforated 22 days later needing repair by corneal transplantation. Newly instituted systemic and topical voriconazol led to clinical cure with transparent cornea. Conclusion:Voriconazol may be effective for keratomycosis caused by Fusarium.
