網膜静脈分枝閉塞症に対する硝子体手術成績

Outcome of vitreous surgery for branch retinal vein occlusion

過去47か月間に29例30眼の網膜静脈分枝閉塞症に対し硝子体手術を行った。年齢は52～83歳（平均66歳）であり，推定発症から手術までの期間は13か月以内に限定した。手術の目的は，黄斑浮腫，硝子体出血，黄斑上膜であった。硝子体出血8眼と黄斑上膜1眼ではすべて視力が改善した。黄斑浮腫21眼では視力改善13眼（62％），不変5眼（24％），悪化3眼（14％）であった。晩期の網膜静脈分枝閉塞症に対する硝子体手術は概して有効であると結論される。

We performed vitreous surgery for branch retinal vein occlusion in 30 eyes of 29 patients during the past 47 months. The age ranged from 52 to 83 years,average 66 years. The interval between onset and surgery was less than 13 months. Surgery was performed for macular edema 21 eyes,vitreous hemorrhage 8 eyes,and epimacular membrane 1 eye. Postoperative visual acuity improved in all the eyes with vitreous hemorrhage or epimacular membrane. It improved in 13 eyes（62％）of macular edema,remained unchanged in 5 eyes（24％）,and deteriorated in 3 eyes（14％）. The findings show that vitreous surgery may be effective for branch retinal vein occlusion in its late stage.
