ドルゾラミドからブリンゾラミドへの切り替え効果の検討

Evaluation of topical brinzolamide switched from dorzolamide for glaucoma

ドルゾラミド1日3回点眼からブリンゾラミド1日2回点眼に切り替えた緑内障25例25眼につき，4週後の自覚効果を評価した。内訳は原発開放隅角緑内障17眼，正常眼圧緑内障3例，落屑緑内障1眼，原発閉塞隅角緑内障1眼，遅発型発達緑内障3眼であり，全例が多剤併用中であった。ブリンゾラミドを8週間使用した後，20例がブリンゾラミドを自己選択し，5例がドルゾラミドを自己選択した。両点眼薬ともべたつき感があり，白い眼瞼付着物が生じたが，ドルゾラミドのほうが軽微であった。ブリンゾラミドでは点眼回数が少なくなったことにより，コンプライアンスが向上した。

We evaluated the comfort and compliance of brinzolamide twice daily switched from dorzolamide thrice daily in 25 eyes of 25 glaucoma patients. The series comprised primary open-angle glaucoma 17 eyes,normal-tension glaucoma 3 eyes,capsular glaucoma 1 eye,primary closed-angle glaucoma 1 eye,and late-onset developmental glaucoma 3 eyes. All had been treated by multiple medications. After 8 weeks of brinzolamide,20 patients preferred brinzolamide and 5 patients preferred dorzolamide. Both medications showed stickiness and white eyelid secretion,dorzolamide was less irritable. Better compliance resulted from use of brinzolamide because of lesser frequency of instillation.
