抄録：15年前，腫瘍摘出と前方固定を受けたが，再発した頚椎部dumbbell型硬膜外腫瘍（神経鞘腫）に対し，腫瘍の再摘出と頚椎椎弓根スクリュー固定を使用した再建手術を行った．後方からの椎弓根スクリューを用いた脊椎固定と腫瘍摘出ならびに，前方からの腫瘍摘出と腓骨移植を連続的に行った．術後，脊髄の圧迫は消失し，神経症状は改善した．頚椎椎弓根スクリュー固定は固定性に優れ，再発腫瘍の摘出と再建固定に良好な結果をもたらした．
