　抄録：骨軟部肉腫症例の術前ステージングやフォローアップの指針とすべく535例の転移様式を解析した．骨軟部肉腫の転移は肺が最多であるが，基本的にどの臓器にも転移は生じうることが判明した．粘液・円形細胞型脂肪肉腫は軟部，骨，肝などの肺外転移が多く，他の肉腫とは異なる転移様式を示した．その他の肺以外の転移として胞巣状軟部肉腫の骨・脳転移，骨ユーイング肉腫の骨転移などの頻度が高かった．肺外転移を起こした場合の予後は不良であった．

　The paper presents a detailed comparison of the anatomical distribution of metastases and histological classifications in 535 cases of musculoskeletal sarcoma.

　Although the lung was most common metastatic site, musculoskeletal sarcomas metastasized to almost every organ.

　Myxoid/round cell liposarcomas tended to metastasize to extrapulmonary sites. Alveolar soft part sarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma of bone tended to metastasize to brain and bone, respectively. The outcome of the patients with extrapulmonary metastasis was poor.
