Long.-standing intractable seizures are commonmanifestation of cerebraI gallgli (,gliomas. There ismuch controversy regarding the most appropriatesurgical treatment (lesionectomy vs resection of theepileptogenic cortex with the lesion) for patientswith intractable epilepsy associated with gangliog-liomas. We reported 2 cases, in which the favorableseizure outcome was obtained followinglesionectomy alone.(Case 1) Nine year old femaledeveloped attack of abnormal sensation in her leftupper limb followed by motor seizure in her leftlimbs since 5 years old.
