I.はじめに
私たちは,先にPyrithioxinの脳幹網様体刺激による覚醒反応と誘発筋放電に対する作用を調べ1),この薬物が意識を覚醒させ錐休路性の運動を促進させる作用を有することを明らかにしたが,今回は,誘発反応加算装置による加算誘発電位や2〜5),神経細胞の単位放電を対象とした実験成績について報告したいと思う。
Experiments with rabbits were made of the affe-rent average evoked potential in the cerebral cor-tex and of H wave, M wave, nociceptive reflex discharge and also of unit discharge in the brain stem reticular formation in reference to the effect of pyrithioxin.
1. Regarding the afferent average evoked poten-tial, pyrithioxin showed a facilitatory effect on early components such as N1, N2 and no effect on late components.
2. Pyrithioxin showed only a little effect on M wave, an inhibitory effect on H wave, and both facilitatory and inhibitory effects on nociceptive reflex discharge.
3. Pyrithioxin showed a facilitatory effect on unit discharge in the brain stem reticular formation.
The above data confirmed that pyrithioxin showed a facilitatory effect on the afferent pathway while revealing an excitatory action on some nerve cell; in the rpntral nervous system.
