ステロイド療法後の偽脳腫瘍

PSEUDOTUMOR CEREBRI AFTER LONG-TERM CORTICOSTEROID THERAPY:REPORT OF A CASE

I．はじめに

　ステロイド療法（副腎皮質ホルモン療法）を長期間続けた結果として，脳圧亢進と視力障害を訴え，脳腫瘍の疑いで入院，諸検査の結果，偽脳腫瘍と診断，くも膜下腔空気注人によつて症状の軽快した1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of pseudotumor cerebri has been reported, who had marked papilloedema and symptoms of intracranial hypertension two months after receiving corticosteroid therapy for almost one year. In this case, pneumoventriculography and repeated intra-spinal air insufflation was most effective to relieve symptoms of intracranial hypertension, and no more corticosteroid therapy was needed. Therapeutic mechanism of intraspinal air insufflation has been discussed.
