  • Look Inside

A 48-year old man died rapidly under uncon-sciousness with other interesting nervous symptoms in the course of acute myelogenous leukemia. These symptoms were deep coma, slight left-sided hemiplegia, hyperthermia, abnormalities of respiration, left-sided Hor-ner's syndrome with pinpoint pupil and rigi-dity of muscles of the right arm. By autop-sy, the lesions of hemorrhage were mainly situated in the right half of the pars basila-ris pontis and the right nucleus niger of the mesencephalon. Histopathological findings of the hemorrhage were typical, leukemic ring-hemorrhage with massive parenchymal or perivascular infiltrations of leukemic cells.
