或種の化合物は2箇所以上に於いて金属イオンに電子を与えて,これと安定な複合体(Chelatecomplex)を形成する性質がある。この様な化合物はChelatorといわれている。
著者等は前報1)に於いて10種のChelatorを家兎硬脳膜下に注入した場合,EEGに於いてChelatorのキレート生成能の強さに応じて著明なSpike burstが出現し,之が長時間にわたり頻回に繰返すのが見られ,したがつて脳に於ける脱金属によりSpike burstが発生する可能性が強いことを論じた。
1. INAH & EDTA were used on these ex-periment and various metal ions were added to upper compounds simultaneously or in the midst of spike storm.
2. When the metal ions were bound with chelators, no spike burst were observed or spike storm that was provoked by chelators were disappeared dramatically. But no effects were recorded when the metal, unable to form chelate complex, were added.
3. Thus our assumption, reported on pre-vious paper, was supported.
