  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

1) Use of Megimide as an activator in EEG was performed on 37 cases of which 28 cases were epileptic patients and 9 cases posttrau-matic sequelae, and its effects and side effects were studied.

2) In 89.3% of epilepsy group and 33.3% of posttraumatic sequelae group, abnormal EEG changes were evoked and their average threshold value was 1.1mg/kg.

In most of cases this threshold value was less than 2.0mg/kg.

3) Megimide is more gentle in its action than Metrazol, so many advantages were observed by its activation; namely, there were few disagreeable subjective side effects and few provoked seizures.
