The case, a 42 years old man, used Brovarin 1-9mg/a day for 2 years 6 months.

Suddenly 39°fever and disturbance of cons-ciousness for one hour could be observed. For 2 day delirious state. After that disturbance of gait, obscure speech, disturbance of urina-tion.

After 3 months he entered our clinic. His main symptoms were bulbar symptoms, ataxie, pyramidal symptoms, disturbance of gait and slight disturbance of urination.

Those symptoms were improved momenta-rily by the hydrocortisone intrathecal adminis-tration, but returned.

The 2. case is a 51 years old man, who used Brovarin 0.5-4mg/a day, mixed with Veronal. As a slight disturbances of speech and gait appeared, he stopped the use of Brovarin. After one year those symptoms disappered.

But he used Brovarin 2-5mg/ a day again, for 10 years. The disturbances of speech and gait appeared again.

After two months he entered our clinic. His symptoms were bulbar symtoms, ataxie, incomplete pyramidal symptoms and distur-bance of gait.

Those symptoms were improved by the hydrocortisone intrathecal administration. This treatment effected especially the distur-bance of gate.
