NMR-CTによる経過観察にて診断した弓部大動脈瘤切迫破裂の1例

A case of impending rupture of aortic arch aneurysm diagnosed by repeated NMR-CT

　NMR-CTの場合，血管壁，血流および血栓の3者が明瞭なコントラストをなすので，解離や瘤形成などの大動脈の形態学的異常に対して，独特の有用な画像情報を提供する。今回，我々は，NMR-CTによる経過観察にて診断し得た弓部大動脈瘤切迫破裂の1例を経験したので報告する。

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a completely noninvasive for the assessment of aortic abnormalities, dissection, aneurysm, and atherosclerotic change, pro-viding the definite contrast between flowing blood and vessels wall.

We report a rare case of aortic arch aneurysm which had been thought to be the malignant mediastinal tumor and was clearly imaged by NMR-CT to be the massive subadventitia hematoma caused by aortic im-pending rupture.

Through the case, we confirmed that NMR-CT has the unique usefulness for the diagnosis of aortic abnor-mality compared with previous X-ray CT, However, there always be the diagnostic limitation which we should keep in mind.
